So about my laptop... that pretty much recently died on me. Its graphics card is shot. It was an old thing anyhow, and it could barely play Sims 2 anymore due to its age.

The good news is that I have a brand new custom built computer~!! Well, technically it's slightly used. It's still in great condition though, and can even play Sims 3 better than my old laptop did. I may have even started a brand new legacy. It's gonna take me a bit to get back into the swing of things though, so I bet the first few updates won't be all that entertaining.

As for the Coke Legacy, I have their whole neighborhood safely tucked away on my external hard drive. There's no need to worry about them, they're perfectly fine. The only problem is that I'm in no mood to install Sims 2 and all of the expansions I own. It's a great deal, you know? Maybe I'll come back to them when I'm in the mood to sit around installing games and replacing neighborhoods with empty templates for an hour or two.

In the meantime, take a look at the ~lovely founder~ I made.

I'm honestly not all that great at using the sliders in Sims 3. I downloaded a mod to enhance the sliders, but I don't see much of a difference?? I'm probably just bad at it. I hope she doesn't look too bland... ;;

SO ABOUT THE LAPTOP ISSUE...

I was hoping to get it fixed before I get back into Sims stuff, but it seems like that's not going to be happening anytime soon. The only other choice right now is to buy a new computer, which I totally don't have the money for. Then again, it's honestly not a major problem unless it suddenly becomes one. I probably worry too much, oops. That being said, I'm still going to try and work on getting a replacement computer and play Sims 2 while I'm at it?? If anything, I can simply back up my stuff just in case.

i actually have a full update of pictures that have been sitting here for months and i am sorry.

Alright, so just when I was getting super attached to playing Sims 2 on a laptop, the CMOS battery had to go and die out on me. For those who don't know, the CMOS battery is basically like a watch battery and is in charge of internal clock functions/BIOS settings. Right now the clock is stuck in an hour loop. This isn't much of an issue normally, but there's a chance that a serious error could pop up, which then makes it a Very Bad Thing. Normally I could simply replace it, however the CMOS battery is welded into the motherboard. I think for desktop computers it's different? Either way, I'm not going to buy a new motherboard for the laptop just to fix it's silly battery.

I might put off playing the game for some time while my brother makes a new custom desktop computer that should be fit to use.

I forgot to mention it, but nobody cried over Nate's death. Just as they should.

I seriously doubt anyone even comes back to this journal ahahshdshasghshkdlasfde.

But anyhow, I have a slight question regarding Sims 3. Is World Adventures even worth getting or...??? I'd rather buy Supernatural, ngl. I'm being swayed by the zombies. I love zombies. It's my life-long dream to have a pet zombie. I'm a strange person.

I loved Bon Voyage for Sims 2, but World Adventures just looks kind of... meh.

wow this question would do better on my simming tumblr what am i doing here
